25th Anniversary
Hull Judo Club - 25th Anniversary Celebrations

In October 1984 Woodford Judo Club started. Now known as Hull Judo Club it is preparing to celebrate its 25th Anniversary.

The club has trained in a number of different locations over its existence, including Woodford Leisure Centre, Hull YPI and currently at the Ennerdale leisure centre.

It has seen a large number of players train with the club and represent the club at competitions. A number of players have gained National and International medals and have represented the country on many occasions.

The club is proud of all its successes, is pleased to still be producing high quality judo players and is excited to be nearing its 25th Anniversary.

We will be celebrating the Anniversary on the 17th October 2009.

More details will be made available as plans are confirmed, but I can reveal that there will be a three course formal dinner at Hull Guildhall in the evening.

This will be a ticket event and details on obtaining tickets will be made available as soon as possible, but we hope that as many people who have been involved in the club throughout its history will be able to join us for this special occasion.

If you are in contact with people from the club's history that the club committee may have lost touch with, then please pass their contact details on to me at peter@bmcy.org.uk or ask them to get in touch with me.

The committee is already getting excited about this special occasion and we hope that you will be excited as well.

We hope that as many people from the club's history will be able to join us to make this a great occasion, so please put 17th October 2009 in your diaries now!
